Steve Kerr Gets His Shots In By Mocking James Harden To Open Today's Press Conference

If there’s one thing I have to give Steve Kerr credit for, it’s the fact that he gives absolutely zero fucks. We’ve seen him time and time again do stuff like this in the press conferences and it’s such a level of cockiness and smugness I can’t help but respect it. Even today people are still talking about how the Rockets were officiated on Sunday, the NBA came out and admitted that they definitely missed some vital calls against the Warriors, and what’s the first thing we see from Kerr? His best James Harden flopping forward impression. Funny is funny and that’s pretty funny. It’s almost like a real life version of this meme

Honestly this is when the Warriors are at their best. They get shit from time for time for being overly cocky on the court, mostly because they are destroying everyone they play, and it’s clear that mentality comes from the top. Imagine someone like Pop, Doc Rivers or Brad Stevens doing something like this? They would never, and I bet that’s what makes it so fun to play for Kerr. He found a way to make his point AND save $25K by not doing anything to get him fined. That’s impressive.

Listen obviously it’s undeniable that Curry benefitted from what happened yesterday but he also has a point. He gets bumped and grabbed and all this stuff on a regular basis and doesn’t get calls and you don’t see the Warriors complaining about it. They just keep playing. I guess maybe if it actually cost them some games maybe their opinion would change, but I’m all for bringing the cocky as hell Warriors back. This series already has enough spice to it, I can fully support adding this type of fuel to the fire. Now all we need is for this to happen during a game and we’ll really be cooking.
