Damian Lilliard's Definition of "Pressure" Shows He Understands The Common Man, Unlike LeBron James

This dude just gets it. And yeah, I’m sure he’s feeling some sort of butterflies ahead of this big Game 1 match-up with the Nuggets tonight. I bet he even feels pressure at the free throw line in the 4th quarter. Well actually, maybe not, seeing as he appears to be as clutch as anyone in the NBA…

But regardless, Dame knows that there is no NBA without the fans. And he embraces the struggle that many of his fans are going through. Maybe it’s his Oakland, California upbringing, or even the fact that he wasn’t heavily recruited in high school, but the chip on Dame’s shoulder makes him very, very likable. And now that he’s found outrageous amounts of success in the NBA, he still relates to the common man. He doesn’t put his money and fame above the people that cheer for him….unlike other NBA superstars. Remember when the Heat choked in the Finals, and LeBum decided that was a good time to remind everyone how much better of a life he has than them?

What a douchebag. Put aside his idea to leave Cleveland on National TV, or the fact that he had Chosen One tattooed across his back at 17, or the fact that he punched a wall after a Game 1 Finals loss and showed up to a press conference with a cast on his wrist and left it above the table for everyone to see. Forget all of that. This quote is the reason why he is the biggest douche in the NBA. Is it true? Yes, 100000% true. LeBron is going to be a billionaire. He gets paid insane amounts of money to do something that the rest of all pay to do at the YMCA. He makes more money in a week than I will in a lifetime. But the fact that he rubbed it in everyone’s faces when he lost shows why he a 34-year-old BABY.

Dame Lilliard, on the other hand, is a 28-year-old MAN. Oh, and Dame is still in the playoffs.
