I Threw Up When I Saw The Yankees Lineup Today

I genuinely cannot believe it’s come to this. It’s April 21st and Brett Gardner is the Yankees 3 hitter. I mean that lineup looks like one of those you’d see with a split squad in Tampa during Spring Training. Also, where is Gleyber? Don’t you dare tell me this cursed team got to him now! The craziest part is that the Yankees are still -230 against the Royals. You have to be a sociopath to take them today no matter who is pitching. I mean that is a startling lineup. Startling. It might work to be honest. DJ is a great lead off guy, Voit is seeing the ball much better lately, Gardner has 5 home runs, Clint is the hottest hitter on the team, Tauchman has life lately, and then yeah we’ll play some small ball after that.

What’s even better is right after this game the team heads west for a three city-nine game road trip. Lovely timing. We’ll have to stay up until 1am watching Brett Gardner hit in the 3 hole.

P.S. It’s a little concerning we don’t know the severity of Judge’s oblique injury yet. What are they waiting for?
