[Cincinnati] – “I feel like I’m in my 20s,” the 43-year-old Army veteran said.
After 40 days, Hall said:
- He needs less sleep
- His mind is clear
- He said he feels like there’s no inflammation in his body
On Day 43, Hall was officially down 41.5 pounds. He said the fast has definitely helped break his unhealthy relationship with food.
“When I thought I was hungry, I wasn’t. True hunger isn’t that rumbling in your tummy,” Hall said. “If I didn’t eat for 46 days, missing one meal isn’t going to kill me.”
Well, wait a goddamn second here. You’re telling me I can go 40 days and nights without eating anything and only drinking beer and drop 41.5 pounds and be healthy? Well, well, well. Look who just found his summer body.
I don’t know how this guy did it honestly. Especially working at 50 West. There’s delicious food at 50 West. How do you work in that environment and not grab a burger? That’s just something I can’t comprehend. I can actually comprehend beer for 40 days and nights, but not grabbing something to eat is the crazy part.
Actually, who am I lying. The crazy part is that this is healthy. This just completely flipped the game on its head. No more working out. No more eating healthy. Just going to drink beer for 10 days and drop 10 pounds. Maybe get crazy and do 20 days and 20 pounds.
Printing this out and handing it to every person I know:
“Beer isn’t as bad a people think. People really vilify beer. Everything in excess is bad for you and really, the average American diet will kill you faster than craft beer will,” Hall said.
So watch out 50 West. I’ll see you for lunch and dinner on Monday.
