The Most Electric Man In Golf Has Received A Sponsor Exemption To Play In The 5th Major AKA The John Deere Classic

Wooooooooooooooow. Huge huge huge news for the John Deere Classic AKA the 5th Major. Actually I take that back. It’s huge news for Ho Sung Choi AKA The Fisherman AKA The Most Electric Man In Golf that he’ll be heading to Silvis, IL to participate in the greatest golf tournament on either side of the Mississippi. What an honor that must be for him. This July two of the biggest figures in the sport, one a golf course and the other a golfer, will meet in what will be one of the biggest events in human history. Let’s be real, the John Deere Classic didn’t need a bump like this but boy oh boy am I glad it’s happening. The Fisherman bringing his crazy ass swing to the JDC will be a can’t-miss event.

In case you forgot/didn’t know, the JDC is where legends are born and bred. It’s where guys like Jordan Spieth and Bryson DeChambeau cut their teeth and earned their first PGA Tour wins before blasting off into superstardom. It’s where lightning rods such as Zach Johnson and Steve Stricker have dominated in the past. Basically if you want to prove you have the skill and the mettle to win on the PGA Tour, you head to the Midwest and try your hand at TPC Deere Run. It’s a course that takes no shit and will chew you up and spit you out if you’re not careful. Best of luck, Ho Sung Choi, you’re gonna need it.
