In An Absolutely Terrible Decision Scumbag Slava Voynov Will Be Allowed To Play In The NHL In 2020-2021
On the brink of such a wonderful time in the NHL, Bettman and co. just completely butchered a major decision for the NHL allowing Slava Voynov to return the NHL for the 2020-2021 season. Voynov will have to sit the entire 2019-2020 season, but regardless I think this was an opportunity for the NHL to make a zero tolerance stand against domestic violence and they failed.
I have wrote about Voynov before. The guys is a complete and total douchebag, any man who hits a woman is. The details of what Voynov did to his wife will give you chills. Here is what the LA Times said happened between Voynov and his wife.

Marta Varlamova sobbed as Wiist interviewed her around midnight on Oct. 19, 2014. The distraught woman told the officer that her husband Slava Voynov, then a standout defenseman for the Los Angeles Kings, attacked her.
“My blood, all over bedroom and bathroom,” Varlamova said in a recording. “And it’s not first time.”
She added: “He’s very aggressive every time.”
And a team is actually going to sign this clown? I don’t care how bad your team is on defense. This dude isn’t worth the trouble. The report went on to say:
While the couple argued during a Halloween party for Kings players, Voynov removed his wife’s costume glasses, stomped on them and punched her in the left jaw, the police report said.
The dispute resumed when they returned home. Varlamova told police Voynov choked her with both hands three times.
“Voynov pushed her to the ground approximately six to seven times with both hands, telling her that he wanted a divorce and to ‘Get out,’” the report said.
Voynov kicked her five to six times on the ground, Varlamova told police, while she screamed for him to stop. When she tried to get up, he pushed her into the corner of a flat-screen television (via LA times)
Honestly, fuck whatever GM signs this guy. I am one who believes in second chances, but not for this dude. This clown made his choice. Stay in Russia you sick fuck, we don’t want you here.
