Boot Chugs After Rhys Hoskins Dingers Are Just What This Phillies Team Needs To Win A World Series
Every great championship team in the history of history has at least one thing that is unique to them and they can rally around, which then propels them to greatness. It could be something serious like overcoming a tragedy. Or it could be something…a little less serious like having a guy gas a beer out of his cowboy boot after every Rhys Hoskins dinger this season.

And that right there is all it takes. Something simple that starts off organically could become the exact thing that this organization needs to finally gets itself another World Series championship. Signing Bryce Harper, Realmuto, McCutchen and Segura was all nice and everything. And this offense can clearly do some damage on their own. But when you add all the new pieces to this lineup with a random fan chugging some $12 beers out of his cowboy boot? Now you’ve got a serious contender on your hands. It is scientifically proven.
P.S. – This is infinitely more impressive than a standard Das Boot chug. I’d have to imagine this man isn’t just carrying around an extra cowboy boot with him on the chance that Rhys Hoskins parks a ball in the 2nd deck while he’s at CBP. So that’s gotta be a boot straight from the foot. It was 80 degrees out yesterday. So I can’t imagine that cowboy boot was dry before he poured the beer in there. But this man is willing to do whatever it takes for him to play his part in this team’s greatness. And that’s what I love and respect about him.
