Terrorist's Aunt Says The Bombing Was Staged, Father Describes Them As Angels

MAKHACHKALA, Russia (AP) — The father of the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing described his fugitive son as a smart and accomplished “angel” in an anguished interview in which he claimed they were set up. Anzor Tsarnaev spoke with The Associated Press by telephone in the southern Russian republic of Dagestan after police said one of his sons, 26-year-old Tamerlan, had been killed in a shootout and the other, Dzhokhar, was being intensely pursued. “My son is a true angel,” said the elder Tsarnaev . He said his son was “an intelligent boy” who was studying medicine. “We expected him to come on holidays here,” he said. “They were set up, they were set up!” he exclaimed. “I saw it on television; they killed my older son Tamerlan.” Tsarnaev, badly agitated, gave little more information and ended the call angrily, saying, “Leave me alone, my son’s been killed.”

Look I don’t expect the family members of these two assholes to come out an bash them the way their Uncle did.  I mean it was awesome to hear him call them losers and whatnot, but you can’t expect that from their mom and dad and shit. But gimme a break with this angel shit. Claiming its all a setup and they’re innocent. You don’t need to come out and join the manhunt for your own children but spare me the sob story denial. Don’t go making public statements and giving interviews talking about these two being angels. I respect that its probably the most difficult situation a parent can be in and you’ve just lost your loved one like the victims of the marathon bombings. But its probably best to just stay quiet.
