What Does Tim Miles Want To Do After Being Fired As Nebraska's Basketball Coach? Drink A Cold Beer

I love Tim Miles. The guy is awesome with quotes and if you give me some free and easy content then boom, you get the love category. But mostly Tim Miles showed exactly how to handle when a college athletics department and school completely botches everything.

Don’t get me wrong. I have no problem with the fact that Nebraska let Tim Miles go. But, it’s the way way they did it. They sat there and left it in limbo from the Big 10 Tournament to after to the NIT to after that saying there was no decision made yet. Which is simply saying, we’re trying to figure out if we can line up Fred Hoiberg pretty quick.

How can you not love that?

Here’s the truth though. Nebraska is a really difficult place to coach. You don’t have a great recruiting base. You’re the 2nd biggest basketball program in the state behind Creighton. You are a football school first. There’s not a lot of history there. Miles had some bad luck with injuries – most notably this year.

So enjoy that cold beer Tim Miles. I’d go with a Bud Light but that’s just me (I wonder how KB and Dave are enjoying Vegas.). He’ll be linked to a job soon.
