How Old Is Too Old To Celebrate Your Birthday Week?

So Sales Guy has been MIA since Thursday. Now we have conflicting reports from people. Some say that he is actually working. (Actually only Gaz has said that) Other people have said that it’s his birthday week. There is some evidence that supports the latter theory since he has been posting stories from the Southie parade, Newport parade and everywhere else in between. Now I know he told me that he has to go to Chicago and Nashville this week “for work” but it is an odd time for our social guy to be gallivanting across the country to one party destination after another, but I digress.

Regardless of whether Sales Guy is working or not I do know that he takes his birthday very seriously. Like for for as long as I’ve known him he treats his birthday like it is a legitimate major holiday. He plans months in advance for it. He treats it like a 17 year old girl in college does. His entire world shuts down to celebrate it. This obviously begs the question is he the only male in the world who does this and how old is too old to celebrate your birthday week.  I think once you graduate college all birthday festivities should pretty much come to an end.*  And if you’re a dude you probably should never really celebrate your birthday to begin with.

*The third annual DP 42 will be taking place next weekend in Vegas.
