Carsen Edwards Took The Worst Shot In The History Of College Basketball

This is it. This is the worst and most hilarious shot I can remember in college basketball. I mean what exactly was Carsen Edwards doing here? Don’t get me wrong he’s an unbelievable player. He’s in the race for Big 10 Player of the Year with Cassius Winston and Ethan Happ. But, uh, this is the worst shot I can remember.

The best part is it’s not even close to a foul. Edwards barely gets the ball out of his hand before he turns to the ref. I’ve been watching it every so often just belly laughing at the shot and the reaction. He was so sure he’d get a foul call. Luckily Purdue is up right now.

Call me crazy but maybe next time I’d at least wait for the ball to land or be on the way down before I beg for the call.
