Breaking Down Kyrie's Cryptic Message To Gordon Hayward: What Could It Mean?

Shortly after Gordon Hayward hit tonight’s game-winning shot against the Sacramento Kings on the second night of a West coast road trip back-to-back, the cameras panned to the Celtics bench to reveal a horrifying scene.

Noted malcontent Kyrie Irving, out for tonight’s game with a case of deep despair, was spotted signaling something in the general direction of Hayward. I’ve no telepathic powers to my knowledge, I am no master of the dark arts, I can barely read English at a ninth grade comprehension. But it would appear that Kyrie was up to his usual tricks, casting aspersions as he is one to do, raining on the parade of yet another highlight on Gordon’s comeback trail.

He is seen here hoisting two fingers, much like he was when he was talking to Kevin Durant at the All Star Game. One can only assume he is yet again reminding everyone of the two max spots the Knicks possess this summer. The guy cannot wait to get out of dodge to the Sleepy City of New York out of the ever-omnipresent eye of the media.

Many people are also pointing out he was mouthing “Let’s go,” to Hayward. Now, I’m no big city lawyer or anything but where I’m from “let’s go” means “let’s leave.” Kyrie is not grateful that Hayward hit this shot for the win, he’s just happy he doesn’t have to sit through an overtime period, furthering his time spent next to the dregs of the world known as his no-good, putrid teammates.

Bottom line, it has become abundantly clear that this team just hates one another to the point where it has become completely untenable. Toxic beyond repair. Cue the music.
