The Seahawks Made Kentucky's Lonnie Johnson Compete In A Staring Contest Because The NFL Combine Makes 0 Sense

The NFL Combine is so goddamn weird. I mean we hear ridiculous stories come out all the time about what teams ask players about themselves or their families or weird would you rathers. It almost sounds like a KFC Radio episode.

But, now we’re doing staring contests? I mean I’ve always said if you can win a 16 second staring contest you’re the top DB on the board. In fact I’m moving Lonnie Johnson up to 3rd on my draft board behind Josh Allen and Benny Snell – no real reason as to why they are the top 2 there.

This makes me glad I’m not a potential NFL player though. I’m an average staring contest participant. Not great at it. I don’t like being told when not to blink. Blink as you please. I just have no desire to stare at another human being for that long.

I’d venture to guess this won’t even be the weirdest thing to come out of the NFL Combine.
