Does This Look Like the Face of A Woman Arrested For Running Over A Teenager Who Was Trying To Save A Parking Spot For Her Friend At Walmart?

AJC - A Bartow County school board member faces misdemeanor charges after deputies said she hit a teenager with her SUV during a dispute over a Walmart parking spot, Channel 2 Action News reports. According to a police report, a 17-year-old girl stood in a parking spot at the Cartersville Walmart to hold it for a friend who had just given birth. She didn’t want the friend to have to walk too far into the store. But when Cornett arrived in her SUV, deputies said she wanted the space too, and that led to a verbal disagreement. “She told her to move and then she pulled into the parking spot and hit her with the tire of the vehicle,” said Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Jonathan White. “They did see scuff marks on the victim’s knee, which was consistent with the height of the tire during that incident.” Deputies charged Cornett with misdemeanor reckless conduct and took her to jail. She later bonded out.The teen was not seriously injured, according to Channel 2.

I don’t even know what we’re talking about here? Everybody knows you can’t save parking spots like this. You can’t stand in it and wait for your fat friend to arrive. That violates every rule in the history of rules. The first car to get there wins period. I don’t care that your friend just gave birth. If she needs that close of a parking spot she probably shouldn’t be shopping in the first place, but that’s really irrelevant. You just can’t save parking spots like this. You can’t do it. This lady had no choice but to run her over. That’s 100% the play here. And I’m not even being sarcastic. It’s just that if you start letting people save parking spots like than you pretty much have anarchy on your hands.  We’re living in a society. We’re supposed to act in a civilized way.
