NY Post - This is the shocking moment police burst in on a top skier in the middle of a blood transfusion.

Austrian Max Hauke, who is also a police cadet, was one of five skiers arrested in anti-doping raids at the Nordic skiing world championships in Seefield, Austria, on Wednesday.

Incredible footage released by Austrian publication Vorarlberg Online shows the shamed star caught in the act with a needle in his arm before a race. When asked whether anyone else is at home, an embarrassed Hauke, 26, shakes his head.

He admitted to blood doping and cooperated with police in the investigation, a statement confirmed. Austrian media claim Hauke and fellow doping countryman Dominik Baldauf are also qualified police cadets.

A 40-year-old sports doctor believed to be the mastermind behind the organization was also arrested, police confirmed.

I mean after they barge in with a camera and you have a billion tubes and needles flying out of your arm like a god damn magic show, it’s certainly tough to deny any wrong doing. It legit looks exactly like a puppy who has a tissue in his mouth and a pile of garbage on the floor next to him. Max Hauke could not possibly have been more doping if he tried. There was enough blood being passed through those tubes to save a city after an earthquake.

So I guess now he’s just banned from the skiing world. Everyone is big mad at him.

Trond Nystad, a coach in the Austrian skiing setup, was also sickened by the video.

“It hurts my stomach. It hurts my whole body when I see something like that. It’s awful. It is difficult to describe with words. It’s disgusting,” Nystad said.

The coach was without words. Didn’t sleep for weeks. It’s not why you get into skiing. It’s not what that community is about.

I’m just glad as an American we never have to worry about doping scandals. No blood transfusions, no illegal substances, no nothing. Our sports stars are as pure as the driven snow. We will never have to worry about anything like what Austria is going through right now. USA! USA! USA!
