It's Been Three Years Since The Ali/Frazier Of Our Generation - Kimbo Slice vs Dada5000

On a number of occasions I could count on one hand in my lifetime, moments have frozen in time, and made me go, “Wow. I just witnessed a historic, iconic moment in human history.”

Osama Bin Laden getting shot…Steve Jobs unveiling the iPhone…and Kimbo Slice knocking out Dada5000 with a devastating gust of wind.

Honestly, I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed harder than I did in that moment. Ever. I had no idea this anniversary was coming up, and by chance mentioned it to a friend the other day as the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. I remember it like it was yesterday, just having to SPRINT into my bathroom to make sure I didn’t piss myself, then finding out later that Dada died! Dadadadied! He was brought back, of course, and he’s promoting some bare-knuckle cagefighting event next month, but hell, he died in the cage! That’s some shit!

To make matters even funnier, Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie headlined this card with a grudge match 62 years in the making, ending in major controversy when Royce kicked Ken in the nuts, and Shamrock just wouldn’t let it go.

Fucking hysterical. What a moment in time. Bellator is the god damn best.

RIP Kimbo
