Davidson Rocked Special Steph Curry Uniforms But Still Refuse To Retire His Number
So last night Davidson rocked these Steph Curry jerseys for one night and one night only. Mostly due to the fact that Curry was in the building and the All-Star Game is in Charlotte, so there was a bunch of people coming to the game. Pretty normal to do that.
So this has been a story for a few years now but it’s picking up steam again, because, well, Steph Curry continues to get better somehow. It’s flat out absurd that Steph doesn’t have his number retired by Davidson. Can you name another player that went to Davidson? I doubt most can.
Listen, I know the reason. He hasn’t officially graduated yet from Davidson. Who gives a shit? He brought in more by going to Davidson than anything he would have done if he graduated. He is giving you a ton of donations. He’s letting you rock these special Curry jerseys. Just retire the guy’s number already.
You know what people who don’t even love college basketball still talk about? Steph Curry leading Davidson to the Elite Eight. Hell, there was a replay of a game vs Oklahoma on a national TV station earlier this week. You know why? STEPH. CURRY.
