I Blame Papa John For College Refs Having No Idea What's A Goaltend

Look this is the easiest call in the world, but as we know college basketball refs are fucking atrocious. This is offensive goaltending. It’s also defensive goaltending considering there’s a hand through the net before hand. But, this is all Papa John’s fault.

Besides sending Papa John back to Louisville, we need to fix the review process. The fact that neither goaltend is reviewable but some mundane calls are is a joke. And yes, both were goaltends. Clear as day. Hand through the net for UK and on the cylinder for LSU. What the hell are the refs looking at? Probably this guy.

Now I have to text Marty and work with him on bringing in the corruption that is goaltending rules. Just either review plays as a whole when you go to look at the clock like they did here or don’t review anything. Don’t pick and choose.

In terms of the game? Kentucky finally had the slump from the free throw line as they have been a great free throw shooting team. Herro and Johnson never really got going on the outside and LSU dared Ashton Hagans. Waters would just go double and try to dig for a steal leaving Hagans alone. It disrupted the offensive totally. Then Reid Travis made one of the more egregious errors you’ll see. Getting an offensive rebound with under 30 to go and instead of either laying it in to go up 2 or hold the ball he turned it over trying to fire a pass to the outside. That shit can’t happen.
