Barstool Sports Bullied The NCAA Into Changing Buzzer-Beating Shot Reviews

Well, well, well. Look at what we have here. The NCAA is forced to change the review rule when it comes to buzzer-beating shots. Granted, it’s only happening during the NCAA Tournament, but it’s a step in the right direction.

In case you missed it we’ve had these controversial no-calls the last few days:

Calls that cost people money. Specifically our RnR Champ Marty Mush, who I’m 100% positive played arguably the most important role in this situation. He went ahead and called the Big 12 office:

No doubt in my mind this got the ball rolling. They probably received a couple tweets with this look and knew it was time to change

This is the first step. Soon we’ll have a review at all times. The NCAA needs to acknowledge that gambling is real. Hell, even DFS matters at this level. As long as these things are real, you need to take every measure to make sure the outcome is right.

I was looking forward to losing and then freaking the hell out during the NCAA Tournament though.
