Is Boban Now The Hottest Dude In Philly? You Be The Judge
I know that a lot of Sixers fans out there are going to refer to this as the “Tobias Harris trade” but make no mistake about it; this move was for Boban and Boban only. I mean sure, the other pieces are nice and everything. Tobias Harris is one of the best shooters in the league and is an all star caliber player. But Boban? Boban is a star. He’s one of the only players in the entire world who can stop Joel Embiid in his tracks in awe and amazement.
I think the biggest takeaway from this trade is that there’s now a new Hottest Dude In Philly with Boban Marjanovic. Tough break for a guy like JJ Redick who was previously probably the most handsome professional athlete in Philly. But now that Bobi is in town? It’s over.
Again, I’m very excited for Tobias Harris as well. The Sixers now have a big 4 between him, Joel, Ben and Jimmy Butts. But all I can think of right now is Boban heading out to Center City SIPS this summer with Joel and just wheeling smokes around left and right. If you’re a single dude in Philly right now, I hope you enjoy having the driest year of your life because Boban is here to snatch up everyone’s girl. Only thing left to do I guess would be to hope that the Sixers don’t re-sign Boban after this season and let him hit free agency. If they keep him a part of their long-term plan like they intend to do with Tobias Harris? Sheesh. Gonna be a lot of virgins in this city courtesy of Bobi.
