Jermichael Finley Calls It Crazy That You Have To Gain Aaron Rodgers' Trust By Running The Right Routes In Practice

So let me get this straight? Aaron Rodgers, the future HOF quarterback, has his players earn his trust, by running the right routes in practice? I mean who does this guy think he is? What a terrible leader. How does this guy win in the NFL? He won a Super Bowl? Must have been by luck because that crap simply doesn’t fly in today’s world.

Jermichael Finley thought if he held the door open for Rodgers everyday he’d get a few balls his way during the game. Maybe Aaron would invite you over for some scotch if you asked how his weekend was during lunch on Monday. What a buffoon. I feel like if we secretly polled the NFL’s best QBs who have been in the league long enough to gain a reputation: Brady, Brees, Wilson, Big Ben, Luck, Rivers, etc. they’d all say the same thing. Buddy if you fuck up in practice, no one is throwing you the ball. You could be the nicest guy in the world, Rodgers or Brady aren’t acknowledging your existence on this planet if you don’t put in the work. If you can’t run a comeback route to perfection on a back shoulder fade you are as good as dead to Mr. Rodgers. That shouldn’t be news to ANYONE.

I love going back to this video of Jordy, Cobb, and Davante handling the jug machine with ease. Just watching the video from the first three guys you’d think it was a piece of cake. Then the rookies go and drop literally every single ball. I imagine Aaron was watching from a distance and crossed those guys names off of the trust tree immediately.
