Tom Brady Doubled Down On Not Retiring And Said He's Playing For At Least Two More Years

There has been a lot of talk about Super Bowl 53 potentially being Tom Brady’s last game. I’m not exactly sure if that’s just wishful thinking for Patriots haters or if ever was a legit argument to be made. Rodney Harrison weighed in this week when he said “as a friend, I’d like to see him win a championship and move on.”

But TB12 told Jeff Darlington this week that there is 0% chance he retires after Monday. And this morning on his weekly WEEI hit, he doubled down even further.

Via EEI…

“I’ve set a goal that I want to play into my mid-40s.”

“I’m going to keep playing and when I feel like I don’t want to make the commitment or I feel like I’ve had enough then I’ve had enough. That’s not – in my view – this year, next year, the year after that. I just want to keep playing because I really love it and I’m having a lot of fun.”

Welp, there you have it. Looks like New England has at least two more years of the GOAT. Doesn’t look like that cliff is coming anytime soon. Sorry, Kellerman.
