“You’re an announcer with a long stick sometimes” … what dude? Why is Pierre standing so goddamn close to him? Why did he have to run the joke back a couple times as if we didn’t catch it the first time? What do they say to each other when they go to commercial break? So many questions and just not enough answers.
Pierre gets hated on so much he has become almost and anti-hero now. I think some people like watching the train wreck and I get that. I understand the argument that its more entertaining to watch a game with your friends where Pierre is doing weird ass shit and talk about what a weirdo he is than watch the same boring announcers. Let me clarify, I can follow that train of thought as long as I’m a comfortable distance away and not in danger of getting kissed.

While there is nothing wrong with a Throwback Thursday weird Pierre video, you may be wondering what on Earth this has to do with anything. Well I don’t really have an answer there, but I can tell you it came somewhere from the depths of Youtube watching old dubbed over hockey videos from 2008-2013. If you’re not familiar with that genre, let me fill you in.
Any hockey fan that is not familiar with a Youtube account called Ottawagh0st, I am jealous you get to watch this shit for the first time. When Dany Heatley forced his way out of Ottawa, he created some people who weren’t exactly his biggest fans. One man took it upon himself to commentate the All-Star’s true thoughts on everything he did. I think the original OttawaGh0st took them down or something because they are all scattered across random accounts now, but the premise is this guy HATED Dany Heatley and would just bury him on any video he was appeared in. I honestly think theres a chance this guy ran Dany Heatley off the internet. It eventually turned into parodying anything hockey related and this dude never missed. Here are some of the best ones.
