I'm Living On Garth Brook's Old Tour Bus With PFT, Big Cat & Rone For The Next Four Days
Since 7:45am this morning I’ve been pacing around at the office, which – as a dedicated 10am-or-later, is a pretty big deal for me. The reason? There’s a bus ah’comin’ at 8am, and not just any bus…
(*not actual bus but it’s probably, like, totally similar)
It’s a big ass, fancy, two-toilet-five-bed havin’ monstrosity that I’ll be living on with PFT, Big Cat & Rone for the next four days. Though it’s not quite the traditional GRIT type tour, it’s still a good old fashioned road trip packed with stops, interviews & maybe even a little paint drinking, all thanks to DEVOUR & the magic of food porn…
We’re en route to Atlanta for Super Bowl week in a luxury vehicle previously owned by Garth Brooks & to say I’m extremely excited would be an understatement.
The stops:
Start: NYC, Barstool HQ
Today: Philadelphia, PA
Friday: Blacksburg, VA
Saturday: Nashville, TN
Sunday: Atlanta, GA
*Update: The bus was supposed to be here at 8am. It’s now 9am & still nothing. Spider says he gets the vibe our driver seems a little stubborn, so I can’t wait until a bunch of us hop on full of energy in matching DEVOUR jumpsuits. Speaking of, the only thing I packed for this trip are two pairs of jeans, three pairs of stretch pants & several hoodies. With time to kill I hopped on Barstool Radio this morning & was informed that is NOT the fashion in Atlanta.
Thankfully Willie Colon promised me that he & his wife would help me get stylish on their dime. Not surprising considering charity is kind of their thing (holy crap they are way better people than me)…
And thank God for their charity, because now I’m having a recurring daydream where the whole Barstool crew goes to that top notch strip club & I’m not allowed in.
*Update: Just heard a loud HONK from the street & it’s either an angry garbage truck or our ride is here.
