Tuukka Rask Leaves Game After Getting Steamrolled By Filip Chytil

Fuuuuuuuuuuckkk. That does not look good at all. Charlie McAvoy sent Filip Chytil airborne right into Tuukka Rask after Chytil went shelf to tie the game. Here’s the goal and the full sequence.

Another look at the collision, Rask takes Chytil’s hip straight to the dome and then either hits his head again on the crossbar or the right post… Took him a while to get back on his feet, and he needed help to get off of the ice.

Jaro Halak is now in net, 1-1 game. (UPDATE: The Rangers just scored as I typed this). This fucking sucks. Rask was 6-0-1 in his last 7 games, and was going for franchise history win number 253 tonight.

After tonight, the Bruins are off for the next 10 days due to the All-Star Break, that is the only silver lining if Rask misses extended time (which I assume he will). Hope he’s alright.
