True Love: Man Proposes In Court To Woman Who Stabbed Him 13 Times

NIZHNEKAMSK, Russia – A Russian man begged a judge to let his girlfriend go free after she stabbed him 13 times, almost killing him. He wanted her to be released so they could get married. According to reports, he proposed to her in court, at her sentencing. At the time of the attack, the man, named Shakur, managed to escape his attacker. As she faced the judge to be sentenced, Shakur apparently proposed to the woman and begged the judge for leniency so they could arrange their marriage.

That’s true love folks. You may not like it, but this is what true love looks like. Only the strongest of loves can survive 13 knife wounds. People, myself included, don’t understand proposing to a woman who stabbed them 13 times but that’s just because we’ve never experienced that type of love. Different people are into different things. Most of us will break up with a person if they say the wrong thing or eat their food in a way that we find displeasing. It takes a relationship that’s strong as oak to get through attempted murder.

It was at that very moment that he was smitten. Blood all over the place, giant slices in his skin and a heart filled with love. We shouldn’t be casting a condescending look at this man and woman. We should be happy for them that they found their person. We should all be so lucky.

PS- It also happened in Russia so this might be standard operating procedure. Here in the States we buy a prospective mate a drink, in Russia you make them bleed.
