Man Pulls Knife In Road Rage Incident In Niles - BONUS: Scariest Road Rage Video Of All Time

Patch - A Chicago man faces criminal charges after head-butting another driver and attacking his car with a knife in an instance of road rage caught on video Wednesday, police said. The incident began around 11 a.m with the drivers of a 2000 Jeep SUV and a 1998 Toyota Camry each heading west on Touhy Avenue, according to police. The driver of the Jeep, Dow, told officers the other driver, a 35-year-old Chicago man, had repeatedly cut him off beginning about 2 miles away at Touhy and Central avenues in Skokie, according to Niles Police Cmdr. Robert Tornabene.The video shows a man identified by police as Dow dangerously maneuver the Jeep in front of the Camry to force it to stop before exiting with a knife in his hand.
Just a good old fashioned road rage incident on Touhy Avenue. A truly wonderful drive to work for the guy that was filming it. There’s just no way he thought that he’d be getting some Grade A entertainment like this in the middle of the day. He was probably happy enough that he got to see the beautiful Leaning Tower of Pisa replica that doubles down as a YMCA (I’m not kidding if you’ve never been to the northwest side there is a fake leaning tower) just 30 seconds prior to this. But, to get to witness Tig from Sons of Anarchy hop out of his Jeep with a knife to stab the window of a ’98 Toyota Corolla must have been pretty exhilarating.
This video has been making the Neighborhood Facebook groups blow up like there’s no tomorrow. The Facebook detectives have already found out that the guy has 3 Facebook profiles, and posts scary non-sensical shit to all three of them. Good on the dude in the Corolla to have that quick twitch muscle by hopping in his car in time. This video doesn’t show it, but in the extended version, he gets out of the car and confronts the guy after this which kinda makes me think he’s got some crazy in him as well if you willingly go nose to nose with this guy after he stabs your window 8 times.

P.S. – For all of those who are unfamiliar with the northwest side, I just have to let you know that the Taco Burrito King you see in the background is world class. My friends and I have scummed it for years at the ones on Harlem & Belmont/Harlem & Higgins, and then they open up this one that has a full bar and a drive-thru for the Sauganash/Wildwood folk. Very unfair.
