Anthony Cowan's Dagger From Last Night Vs Wisconsin Was Wildly Identical To Melo Trimble's Game Winner From 3 Years Ago

Bigggg win last night for your Maryland Terrapins. BIG time win. It should have been an easy W for the Terps, as they only allowed Wisconsin to score 15 in the first half, in some sort of Big 10 fan’s wet dream where offense doesn’t exist and first to 40 wins

But Wisconsin got it going in the 2nd half, forcing Anthony Cowan to hit a longggggg 3 to take the lead back in the waning seconds of the game. And in case you thought you had seen a very, very, veryyyy similar shot before, it’s because you have- 3 years ago, Melo Trimble made almost the exact same shot vs Wisconsin. Pretty fucking awesome. I feel like Cowan isn’t getting the national love that Melo got, but man, he is doing everything for the Terps this year, averaging 17.8 points a game, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game.

That now makes 6 wins in a row for the ranked Terps, who are heating up at the right time. Still a lot of basketball to be played though, including games at Ohio State, at Michigan State, at Iowa, and 2 games vs current #2 Michigan.
