Absolute Psychopath Woman Puts Her Girlfriend's Dog In The Microwave Because She Was Pissed The Eagles Lost. Luckily The Dog Is Fine
Source – Upset about the Philadelphia Eagles playoff loss on Sunday, a 31-year-old woman attacked her girlfriend inside their room at the Best Western hotel in Hanover Township, Northampton County, and placed the girlfriend’s dog inside a microwave, according to court records.
Kirsten J. Gaskins of Philadelphia was charged with simple assault, harassment, cruelty to animals and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was arraigned by District Judge Robert Hawke and released on $20,000 unsecured bail…
…The woman said she and Gaskins were staying at the hotel as a getaway, but Gaskins got drunk and began yelling at her about the Eagles’ playoff loss to the New Orleans Saints. The woman said Gaskins began to push her, and she pushed her back so she could get away…
…Police went to the hotel room and checked the microwave and found a white Pomeranian dog inside. The microwave was not turned on and the dog was unharmed, but the oven was too small for the dog to stand or turn around and there was limited ventilation inside.
Okay so first of all my opening question here is how in the actual fuck was this crazy bitch released on $20,000 bail? Like in what world do you let this psychopath leave jail? I’m a big “innocent until proven guilty” kind of guy but Kirsten J. Gaskins deserves to spend the rest of her crazy ass life behind bars right now.
Imagine watching the Eagles, an 8-point underdog, lose last night to a Super Bowl favorite New Orleans Saints and your reaction is to put a dog inside a microwave. Thank god she never got around to turning on the microwave but still. No mentally stable person would ever do that so I’m not exactly sure I agree with the whole idea of letting this chick walk out of jail for just $20,000. I know that’s a ton of money but I feel like you should have to pay at least a million after some shit like that.
I wrote a blog earlier today titled, “Being Angry And Upset After A Big Sports Loss Is Actually One Of The Most Important Things In Life”. A few hours later and turns out that was the most freezing cold take of all time. Because I ended the blog by saying I’d rather somebody allow their emotions to get out of control over a sports loss like a normal person than to keep them bottled up and come out later over something else like a psychopath. After reading this story about Kirsten Gaskins, I would thoroughly enjoy walking that take back a little because beating your girlfriend and putting her dog in the microwave (even without turning it on) is as psychotic as it comes. Best case scenario is that this woman is behind bars for the next few Eagles Super Bowl runs.
