KFC Radio Episode 25 - 30 Midgets vs. 1 Lion

Part I of Episode 25 is obviously a lot of Manti Te’o talk. We recorded last night at 8pm so you can listen to us talk through the whole story basically as it was unfolding last night. I think the general consensus we came up with was that Hawaiian people are fucking weird and they will stick together. They will ride this thing out to the bitter end because its basically Polynesia vs. The World in their mind and no matter how fuckin wacked out Manti Te’o is, they got his back.

But one of the first voicemails we took was Who Would Win In A Fight – 30 midgets vs. 1 lion? I was Team Midgets. Big Cat and Feits were Team Lion. We all presented our reasoning, but no need for hypotheticals. Lets go right to the urban legend from Southeast Asia in 2005:

BBC – Spectators cheered as entire Cambodian Midget Fighting League squared off against African Lion Tickets had been sold-out three weeks before the much anticipated fight, which took place in the city of Kâmpóng Chhnãng. The fight was slated when an angry fan contested Yang Sihamoni, President of the CMFL, claiming that one lion could defeat his entire league of 42 fighters. An African Lion (Panthera Leo) was shipped to centrally located Kâmpóng Chhnãng especially for the event, which took place last Saturday, April 30, 2005 in the city’s coliseum. The Cambodian Government allowed the fight to take place, under the condition that they receive a 50% commission on each ticket sold, and that no cameras would be allowed in the arena. The fight was called in only 12 minutes, after which 28 fighters were declared dead, while the other 14 suffered severe injuries including broken bones and lost limbs, rendering them unable to fight back. Sihamoni was quoted before the fight stating that he felt since his fighters out-numbered the lion 42 to 1, that they “… could out-wit and out-muscle [it].” Unfortunately, he was wrong.

Now this is obviously fake but, on the surface, this is some pretty damning evidence for KFC and Team Midget. Even fake articles won’t give midgets the benefit of the doubt. But I’m still of the school of thought that a well organized unit of 30 midgets – midgets that can follow instructions and won’t break ranks. Midgets willing to die for the good of the group – could defeat 1 lion.
