Artemi Panarin Offered Free Booze For Life To Stay In Columbus

Toronto Maple Leafs v Columbus Blue Jackets

Not to sound like a complete hardo, but I really don’t think there would be anything cooler/better than getting offered free booze for life. Not for the money aspect, more for the convenience. Having hundreds of bottles of Vodka on deck at all times would be unbelievable. Half the time the late night party ends due to everyone being out of booze, well that will never happen for Artemi Panarin if he stays in Columbus with the Blue Jackets.

High Bank Distillery is offering Panarin free booze for life if the the 27-year-old resigns with the team and doesn’t leave them when he becomes a free agent this summer. The company posted a note to Panarin on a billboard offering him the deal.

I mean we aren’t just talking about vodka here. They got Gin and Whiskey too AND they have a restaurant. So at this point this guys can basically drink free booze for life and get a bite to eat on the house whenever he pleases…what a life.

Now – would I sign a contract extension in Columbus just because of this tempting offer? Absolutely not. You’d be an idiot to do that. Panarin’s next contract will be so big he’ll be able to drink and eat whatever the fuck he wants for the rest of his life and never even notice the money he spent.

But the offer? Still pretty cool.
