Be Still My Heart. Dwayne Haskins Just Tweeted Out A Picture Of Himself In A Giants Uniform UPDATE: He Deleted It
Gimme alllllll the eye emojis. That was all it took from me. I’m completely in on Dwayne Haskins and my heart is completely still, which is probably not good for a man my size. I know Haskins agent probably told him to tweet this to send idiot Giants fans like myself in a frenzy and put Dave Gettleman’s ass strictly in the jackpot to save his team from Quarterback Purgatory and I know that Haskins put a bunch of different pictures of himself in different QB-needy NFL teams jerseys in his Instagram story.
But I don’t care. He only tweeted out the Giants one however because they are his hometown team and where he truly wants to be (this is what I am going to keep telling myself because I am a sheep that responds like this whenever someone has the slightest interest in me or my teams). I went through an extremely detailed breakdown of Dwayne Haskins and gave him the highest grade I have ever given a QB on this blog.
Granted it was the only grade I have ever given on this blog and the hammer to it all was to draft Haskins because Mike Francesa said he isn’t a good player. But I stand by it. Think of all the possibilities if Haskins gets drafted by his hometown team. The “I’m Coming Home” video, the other “I’m Coming Home video, the third much worse “I’m Coming Home” video. And all the Saquon haters have to shut the fuck up about passing on a QB in the last draft, at least until Haskins reveals himself as a bust, which definitely won’t happen. But just giving us some fan art and a warning to the other 31 GMs in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE to not let him go back to the crib made me feel more alive than I have all season outside every pretty much every time Saquon touched the ball. Do the damn thing Dave Gettleman and draft this man*!
*Or pass on him and tank then draft Tua or Fromm in 2020 or Trevor Lawrence in 2021. I just need our big QB draft pick to hit and I will never be truly relaxed as a Giants fan until it does. But until he’s drafted by another team, Dwayne Haskins is the love of my life until further notice

UPDATE: He deleted it. Dwayne Haskins just made me look like a goddamn FOOL for writing out an entire blog for a deleted tweet. I am officially removing him from my Big Board.
JK, I wouldn’t remove Haskins from my Big Board even if he punched me in my face and told me my kids were ugly. This is all part of the cat and mouse game of the NFL Draft. The next 3.5 months are going to suuuuuuuuck.
