The PECO Building In Philly Is Out Here Just Casually Dancing On Chicago's Grave
Ruthless. Absolutely ruthless.
Listen. Chicago has a great skyline. I can’t lie. It’s a beautiful looking city. And it’s home to some pretty iconic buildings like the Sears Tower which I guess isn’t called the Sears Tower anymore. Now imagine being a building in Chicago and waking up this morning to realize that the PECO Building is out there savagely talking that shit like this. I mean the PECO Building might be worst looking building in Philly. It’s plain, it’s outdated, it’s hideous. But you want to know what the PECO Building has?
It has heart. It has grit. And it has a “fuck you” attitude that really captures the city of Philadelphia as a whole. It’s Philly vs The World. Nobody likes us and we don’t care. So maybe it’s not the PECO Buildings place to be dancing on Chicago’s grave, but that’s not going to stop it from doing so anyway. Because you can’t hold back heart. People may call you classless. People may call you a scumbag Philly fan. But at the end of the day, it’s all just having pride in being from the greatest city in the world. And if you want the PECO Building to apologize for that, well then I hope you don’t hold your breath waiting for one.
(But if I can be 100% honest here, I am starting to get a little worried with all the Double Doink stuff. Feel like if we don’t move on soon, stuff like this is going to come back to bite us in the ass a little bit.)
