Redman's Mom Found 20 Year Old Weed In His Room
This is the most wholesome “mom finds son’s weed stash in his room” video that can ever exist. Redman’s mom trying to spread it out so it looks better on camera while simultaneously asking not to be shown in the video before going on to proclaim that they were going to sell drugs on the internet is the most I’ve smiled in some time. It also shows that she’s a great and trusting mom for the simple fact that somewhere between and eighth and a quarter of weed was just sitting around in his room for two decades. Mama Noble leaves you to your own and doesn’t snoop. A true queen.
But something is bothering me about this video. Redman was super famous 20 years ago. Like he had already put out five albums to major critical acclaim, including BLACKOUT! with the also super famous Method Man. My point here is: he was WAY too famous to be carrying around dimes and dub sacks at that point of his life. Which leads me to believe that this weed is either substantially older than Reggie’s initial estimation OR he was very much still selling nicks and dimes and dubs well into his rap career. Knowing this is the same man who kept a dollar box atop his fridge, either of those scenarios are equally as believable. Long live Reggie Noble.
