Movie Trailer Recap - 'Us' Looks Like Jordan Peele's Next Masterpiece

1. Us.

This looks suspenseful as all hell and I’m hyped up as shit for it. I have a working brain, so I obviously loved writer/director’s last project ‘Get Out’, and that experience with this cast and such an incredible trailer is money in my opinion. Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave), Winston Duke (Black Panther), Evan Alex (Kidding) and Shahadi Wright Joseph (The Lion King) star as the family with Elizabeth Moss (Mad Men), Tim Heidecker (Tim & Eric), and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman) all in supporting roles.

2. The Prodigy (Trailer #2)

Not much different from the first trailer, although the absence of the jump scare made it less intriguing to me. The two big names involved are Taylor Schilling (OITNB) and Colm Feore (The Chronicles of Riddick). Nicholas McCarthy (The Pact) is behind the wheel on this average looking horror movie.

3. Close

This was a pretty shitty trailer for what looks to be a decent movie. I’m a big fan of Noomi Rapace (Prometheus) and Indria Verma (Game of Thrones), but I don’t know much about Sophie Nélisse (The Book Thief). This Netflix movie is written and directed by Vicky Jewson (Born of War).

4. Arctic (Trailer #2)

My opinion of this has not changed since the first trailer in that I fucking love Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale) and will watch anything he stars in. This is written and directed by Joe Penna (Turning Point).
