Frankie Fins Fan Week 17 Wrap Up Ryan Trashyhill the Dumpster Fire

If the Miami Dolphins wanted to save the job of coach Adam Gase, they certainly did not act like it as their season ended with a tremendous thud and a 42-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Bills got the opening kickoff and went down the field 66 yards on nine plays with little resistance. Miami meanwhile got another ugly interception from Ryan Tannehill in their first drive of the game, as the Dolphins quarterback continued to show he is not the answer. The Bills needed just one play to make it 14-0 as Josh Allen completed an 18-yard pass to Zay Jones. In a sense of déjà vu, Trashyhill was picked off again, but the Bills failed to extend the leading, as Shane Hauschka missed a 42-yard field goal attempt.

The Dolphins showed some life in the final minute of the first half were able to go in the locker tied 14-14, as Kenny Stills threw a touchdown pass to Ryan Tannehill, yes you read that right, as a trick play ended the 11-play 51-yard drive that was the only positive on offense for Miami with one minute left in the second quarter. They would tie the game on a pick-six by Reshad Jones 21 seconds later.

After a bad start, the Dolphins were tied 14-14 at the half and had all of the game’s momentum so did Adam Gase go in an inspire Miami. Nope. They came out and it was as if they all bought a book of stamps and mailed the rest of the game in, with the Bills again scoring the first time he touched the ball after the Dolphins went three and out to start the third quarter. The Bills would quickly get the ball back as Ryan Tannehill fumbled. Just as quickly as Miami tied the game at the end of the first half, the Bills got a 14-point lead again on a nine-yard run by LeSean McCoy.

The Dolphins would get a field goal to close the third quarter down 28-17. However, the rest of the way it was just a straight-out embarrassment as the Dolphins were humiliated time and again, without Kiko Alonso who launched himself like a missile at Josh Allen. Fortunately for everyone, Alonso missed a direct head first shot, otherwise it would have resulted in one of the ugliest injuries in NFL history likely on both sides. In what should be his MERCIFULLY FINAL GAME in Miami, Ryan Trashyhill was a total dumpster fire with most of his 147 passing yards in garbage time, with two interceptions and fumble.
