In Classic Philly Fashion Manny Machado Was Dumped Out On The Curb And Forced To Wait In The Cold For The Phillies To Open The Front Door For Him

It does not get more Philly than that, folks. If you are a baseball team and you can’t afford a private parking garage that leads directly into your stadium then well, you stink. But if you can’t have that and your prized free agent dream boy is getting dropped off on the curb, then you need to go greet him the moment he gets out of the car. The fact that Manny had to walk to the front door where the media was waiting to pounce and wait for the GM to open the door is insane. I’m not even trying to be funny, that was a stunning video. STUNNING. If I were Manny I would have left the meeting in 5 minutes in disgust. That should cost the Phillies an extra $100 million on the contract offer.

Also, I want to knock Wreck-It Ralph who waited for Manny outside his car (like the GM and executives should have been) but I can’t. That’s true passion and I respect it.
