Super Villain/Former Miami Marlins President Gives The Finger To Crowd As He Brags About How They Sold The Team For $1.2 Billion

MiamiNewTimes

At this point, every single person who worked for the Miami Marlins when Jeffrey Loria owned the team should be under strict FBI surveillance. Robert Mueller should be stalking these people. They keep revealing themselves to be vampires.

Case in point: Loria’s former team president, David Samson, hopped onto a stage at ESPN personality Dan Le Batard’s birthday party over the weekend and bragged about fleecing Miami taxpayers and sports fans after Loria sold the team for literally a billion dollars. Samson then flipped off the crowd. Had there not been security, he might have been guillotined.

Despite the fact that the Wynwood Yard is a low-key hipster joint — Le Batard wore a flat-brimmed cap and oversize T-shirt to his own party — Samson showed up in a shiny rich-guy sport coat and dress shirt. He walked onstage to a hail of booing from the sort of drunk bros who would hang out at a Dan Le Batard event.

It does not get more villainous than that folks. David Samson, the Marlins former team president, got on stage at Dan Le Batard’s birthday party over the weekend. He was showered with boos similar to what Roger Goodell, Gary Bettman, and James Dolan get in front of their own respective crowds. Samson smiled, told them to keep booing, and presented the crowd with a good ole middle finger while shouting “$1.2 Billion” (the amount they sold the team for). If Marlins fans truly cared about their franchise they would have this guy murdered in cold blood by now. Imagine if the Wilpon brothers did this to Mets fans? Queens would fucking explode. The fact of the matter is that they really don’t care. It’s Florida. You can get away with anything down there because at the end of the day it’s going to be 80 and sunny the following morning. Everything gets washed away because of the weather. You can completely fleece a baseball team overnight and trade away the NL MVP for scraps of paper because people get over it in a day.

I do respect the hell out of this move though by Samson. Fully embrace the villain when you are one. That’s kind of why I want Manny Machado on the Yankees. It’s why I loved A-Rod during his prime. Don’t try to be the nice guy like LeBron while you’re really this egotistical maniac deep down inside. Buy into it and live it up. I’d still lay low for a while if I were him because he’s probably wanted for the murder of the team by at least one person. Come out of hiding by like Friday and you’ll be okay.
