Getting 5 Points In The Last 2.6 Seconds Of A Basketball Game Is One Hell Of A Way To Win

It’s possible that a Division III game in New York may have given us the best ending to a college hoops game this year. Cazenovia trailed Bryant & Stratton with 11 seconds to go before chaos happened. Well, really it started with a tale as old as time. Free throws are free and Bryant & Stratton had a chance to seal the game.

Then we got a backdoor cut for a layup and then the game-winner. Oh, not to mention the guy who hit the game-winner was 3-for-20 on the year from three. Naturally he’s now 4-for-21. Always seems to work out that way. While this is a pretty wild ending for Cazenovia – how about Bryant & Stratton here?

Learn to close a game for me one time, guys. Free throws and then a lazy turnover essentially under your own bucket? That’s JV stuff, fellas. Honestly, that pass makes me upset. Where are you going with that? You underthrew your receiver like you’re Tony Romo with a playoff game on the line. I still thank you for missing Miles Austin in 2012, Tony.

Big time play though by Majesty Wilder to pick the pass off and immediately get a good look. Gotta love D3 hoops.
