So 5-star freshman Jahvon Quinerly has been one of the more fascinating players in the class of 2018. He’s part of the famed jelly fam. He was a prolific player in Jersey. He also originally committed to go to Arizona and then when the FBI stuff broke and Book Richardson was arrested and eventually fired as an assistant coach he decommitted.
It wasn’t necessarily that surprising he ended up at Nova. I mean you look at the guards that have gone through there and the pedigree fits. Nova is by all calculations a blue blood program and one that can turn guys into NBA players. They’ve had success doing it for a few years now.
And now the biggest thing has been Quinerly not playing at Nova. He played just 1 minute tonight in the upset loss at Penn and took to Instagram. He posted this on his story and then pretty quickly deleted it. Obviously realizing that this would likely explode and try to take it down early.
Needless to say all signs point to a transfer. Don’t be surprised if it happens soon so he can essentially gain another semester if he leaves after this semester instead of riding the bench the entire year – as it seems he will be doing.
I’ll be going more in depth on Nova tomorrow, but right now, things sure seem to be going swimmingly!
