Conor McGregor Posts A Wild Instagram Video Captioned With An Ominous Joker Quote From 'The Dark Knight'
Back in September, the UFC held their one and only press conference for UFC 229 where both Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov were present at the same time at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. During this presser, “The Notorious” was a bit more…erratic than usual.
Some chalked this behavior up to the Proper No. Twelve (or ‘uisce beatha’ as we call it at home, translating back to “holy water”) McGregor was sipping, but others took note of the Irishman’s suit choice and constant maniacal laughing and had some fun with their imaginations, asking…

Now, with this sorta wild Instagram post, a video of McGregor hanging out the window of his car on the way to that New York City presser, Conor seems to be having fun with that notion, being he captioned it with one of The Joker’s best quotes from ‘The Dark Knight’.
“You see, their morals, their code; it’s a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They’re only as good as the world allows them to be. You’ll see- I’ll show you. When the chips are down, these, uh, civilized people. They’ll eat each other. See, I’m not a monster, I’m just ahead of the curve.”
People’ll dissect this and argue over whether or not he’s referring to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s crew, or his own crew (don’t worry about this, he’s not), or an outsider’s – a million different theories will arise. But personally, I think he just saw this video on a fanpage, realized he was hanging out of that car’s window just like Heath Ledger did in ‘The Dark Knight’…
…remembered the comparisons, and just decided to have a craic with it.
