We Got Buddy The Elf Hockey Unis And I'm ALL In
First and foremost, I’d like to formally disagree with the blog Feits wrote earlier. ‘Elf’ is the ultimate Christmas movie and I can’t get Christmas SZN started until I watch Elf once maybe twice. Buddy the Elf is arguably the best character in any Christmas move out there (besides Thurman Merman). With that being said, I think the Vancouver Giants of the WHL feel the same way because they broke out some ‘Buddy The Elf’ jerseys and I’m ALL in.
I almost hate myself around Christmas time. I’m so happy. Which is so weird because I don’t really like the cold and I’m not really a happy person. But the second December 1st hits I am so happy it’s almost stupid. I’m a holly jolly ball of happiness. You’ll see me walking down the street walking through the trash filled streets of NYC, walking to my mouse infested apartment, with a giant smile on my face strictly because it is Christmas time.

I just picture me showing up the Vancouver Giants game, probably because I can’t afford Canucks tickets, and I walk in to see the team wearing Buddy the Elf unis. My day would instantly be made, maybe my entire month. You know the team organist is going to be playing ‘Let It Snow’ during the commercial breaks and the DJ is going to be playing White Christmas (The Michael Buble/Shania Twain version which is arguably the best Christmas song of all time) and Santa Claus is coming to town on all night.
I love what the Giants did here though. Christmas unis are the absolute best and you’re crazy if you think otherwise.
