Constantly Protesting Berkeley Student Finally Gets Long-Awaited Revenge On McCarthyism
Shame on the Green Bay Packers. Mike McCarthy derserved better than to be fired with 4 games left in the season and get hired to coach the Cleveland Browns next season. If they had a shred of decency left in there organization they would of kept him around until black monday so he could go to a decent organization like the Bills or Tampa Bay. Instead, they chose to fire him when the only other job opening is in Cleveland and his only comptition for the job is Condoleeza Rice.
It also speaks to the liberalization of the NFL that he was fired for being too conservative especally on 3rd downs. Since when in America is it frowned upon to run a HB draw on 3rd and 14? The Packers are suppose to run their organization like they’re one big family but with Aaron Rogers at the helm he treats everyone like extended members of his nuclear family only in that he’s trying to blow the whole damn thing up. Say what you want about Brett Favre but the only mushroom cloud he left behind was the contents of his iphoto account on his team issued laptop.
Its just intresting how times change, back in the day it was McCarthy searching for ways to identify and banish dangerous communists like Charlie Chaplain, now its a team run by a army of 50,000 co-op owners limiting the rights of a individual by firing him.
Furthermore I woudnt be at all suprised if Rogers and Josh Rosen had a little handshake agreement between the two of them to throttle the Packers and get McCarthy the axe. It was like Aaron Rogers was trying to do a impression of how disinterested Jim Mora Jr says Josh Rosen feels, and they look so similar its like they could be related except Rogers actualy had nice things to say about Josh. I also coudnt help notice a article surface earlier this week about how Mike Holmgren use to tell Brett Farve that if he kept playing poorly he would fire his QB coach Andy Reid. If Packers CEO Mark Murphy wanted to keep Rogers engaged he would of had more luck saying if Rogers continued to play poorly he would sign McCarthy to a extention.
And now the Packers are promoting Joe Philbin to interim head coach which was so obvous given that Joe Philbin looks like a guess who character were the deciding clue to his identy was “this guy looks like a interim head coach.” Philbin was the last coach in Florida- the state with the lowest mean elevation so hes literaly from the deep state.
Quite a week for the NFL as Reuben Foster whose name translates to Australian Breakfast, was signed by the Washington Redskins after his third acusation of domestic violence in under two years, and Kareem Hunt was cut from the Chiefs for the much more serious violatoin of lying to his boss about wether or not he broke curfew. If history has taught us anything if your looking for a guy from Wisconsin to get to the bottom of any problem involving Russia you just hire a guy from Wisconsin named McCarthy and he can fix the issue.
