If You Could Live Your Real Life In One Sitcom/Show, Which Show Are You Joining?

So I posed this question yesterday because, well, I think about weird things as I sit in my house. Now, the key here is you’re not taking over a character or anything like that. You are yourself living in the sitcom/show. You’re not Zach Morris, Shawn Hunter, etc. You can adjust age obviously. If you want to be in Cheers and you’re 30 that’s fine or if you want to be in Boy Meets World you have to be your 15-year old self.

There have been five popular picks so far with Friends, Seinfeld, Boy Meets World, Cheers and Saved by the Bell leading the way. No surprise with those. It’s all about sitting around with friends essentially just in different locations – coffee shop/apartment, high school or a bar.

At first thought my answer was Boy Meets World. You have a core group of friends, you have the older brothers that are at college so if you’re friends with Shawn and Cory you have a place to go party. But, I don’t want to live in Philly. I grew up close enough to Philly already, I don’t need that again. The less Eagles fans around me the better.

If you know me, you may think my answer will be King of Queens as it’s one of my favorite shows. I mean, hell, I wrote a full on blog about it. You get to be friends with Doug and Deacon, you likely have a decent house in New York despite not having an extremely well-paying job. But, I think I’ll pass on that.

I think the correct answer has to be Saved by the Bell. You have a chance to hang out with that crew. I mean if Screech can be a friend of Slater and Zach, you surely can, right? You get to live in awesome weather. You could go to college and hang out with a Golic. You get to travel apparently quite a bit too.

I will say a close second is Friday Night Lights. But, Dillon seems like a dump.

I’ll go with that as my answer, but what say you?
