Cutthroat Kitchen Was The Best Show On The Food Network And I Refuse To Hear Otherwise

Yup I’m not afraid to go there. Cutthroat Kitchen was the best show on Food Network and I refuse to hear otherwise. Am I an expert in Food Network shows? No. No I am not. But I know how good Cutthroat Kitchen was. Yes it was cancelled and I won’t let that reflect how great of a show it was and trust me, I know the premise of every other show is/was not up to par with Cutthroat Kitchen.

Cutthroat Kitchen was a highly competitive cooking show where 4 chefs each were handed $25,000 in cash and were able to use that cash to put sabotages on the other players. Now if you don’t know what a “sabotage” is on Cutthroat Kitchen, here is Alton Brown, the host of Cutthroat Kitchen, giving his top 5 culinary sabotages:

NO POTS AND PANS?! JUST ALUMINUM FOIL?! Yup you heard that right. Sabotages are the best. Someone can use their money to put a sabotage on you which means that you could be stuck without cooking utensils, without pots and pans, and maybe even none of the right ingredients. The sabotages are endless. Cutthroat Kitchen is ruthless and that’s why I loved it. They talked shit to each other endlessly while some people even even had to make a chocolate cake without chocolate…

My favorite part about this video is Chef Jackie.  “Her volcano is all dried up!” Sure is Jackie. She talks the most shit out of anyone and has been on the show twice now and it’s constant entertainment. I can’t help but laugh.

Also the judges have no idea what kind of sabotages that were put on you and they don’t care. They judge strictly on the flavor and the display and they don’t care if you had only a straightener to cook with or if you didn’t have actual chocolate for a chocolate cake.

My fellow coworkers Jeff D Lowe and Kenjac of Lights, Camera, Barstool fame also defended me on Twitter

They are movie experts (so they seem) and I feel like that probably means they know a good TV show when they see one as well.

Even though some agreed, of course many disagreed:

I ignored all of these tweets because like I said, Cutthroat Kitchen was the best show on the Food Network and I refuse to hear otherwise.
