Tiger Woods Tells Barstool Sports Which 2019 Major Championship Venue He's Most Comfortable At

Look I’m not a headline guy. I wasn’t trying to get a headline; I was trying not to piss down my leg and forget the English language because I was standing next to Tiger Woods. When I asked him which of the 2019 major venues he likes his chances at most, I didn’t think he’d answer the question. Or I thought he’d tip-toe around it saying something PR-savvy like “all three are great venues and I’m just taking it one day at a time right now.”

But he singled out Augusta. I can’t ignore that.

Riggs: So 2019, there’s three major championship venues you’ve won at before — Augusta, Bethpage, and Pebble — which one of those are you most likely to win at?

Tiger: The one I’ve probably felt the most comfortable at is Augusta. I’ve always felt very comfortable there. I’ve played well there over the years, and I’m really looking forward to it.

Like I needed more reason to be jacked up for the Masters. Oh Tiger Woods tells me (directly, to my face, with his voice, because he’s Tiger Woods and I met him and interviewed him) that he feels most comfortable at Augusta? Tiger Woods tells me directly that he is “really looking forward to” the 2019 Masters?

Inject that shit into my blood stream and get me to April. 135 days until the Masters. Honestly, I might be living with Tiger by then.
