Uh Oh, Boogie Could Be Back Shortly After Christmas

Oklahoma City Thunder v Golden State Warriors

We knew this was coming, it was only a matter of time before Boogie came back, but next thing you know you look down at a calendar and realize that this is about a month away. With all the drama surrounding the Warriors as of late, you almost forget that this is all happening without someone like Boogie, and that they still are going to add perhaps the best Center in the NBA not named Embiid when healthy. I think we’re all curious how this will look once he’s in the lineup, because not only does it give the Warriors a legit post presence which teams have never really had to deal with before when it comes to the Warriors, but it also gives them a player who is going to be motivated as hell since he’s in a contract year.

Obviously we have no idea what he’s going to look like coming off from such big time injury, but even if he’s like 75-80% the player that he was before he got hurt, that’s still an absolute monster. You’ve seen the clips, Boogie has a legit outside shot as well, so my guess is he’s going to fit in flawlessly with how GS wants to play. I imagine Kerr will be cautious with him, he’s not going to have crazy minutes or anything like that, but this was perhaps the biggest story from this summer, where the Warriors sent shockwaves across the internet when they pulled this off, and I cannot wait to see how it all looks.

You talk about having an ace up your sleeve, imagine that ace being a healthy Boogie. What is going to happen when they have a tight game and Boogie takes the shot instead of Durant? We know what happened the Draymond didn’t give him the ball, but do you think Boogie is going to take any shit? My hope is for chaos, but my brain is telling me it’s just going to be more Warriors dominance.

Live look at the rest of the West in about a month…
