Tyler Lockett Broke Out A Celebration Reminding The World That Allen Iverson Humiliated Ty Lue Nearly 20 Years Ago

Yesterday was all about celebrations and this was up there for the best. I mean obviously you’re not going to top Randall handing the ball to Hue after the interception, but this is up there. It’s one of the most iconic moves in recent sports. Iverson got Lue on the crossover and then stepped right over him. It was beautiful. It still is. But, at some point Ty Lue is going to snap. I mean he gets fired. He loses game 1 of the NBA Finals because JR Smith didn’t know the score. He loses LeBron. Now he has Tyler Lockett out here reminding the world he got stepped over nearly 20 years ago.

My big takeaway though? Football players sure do like to pretend to be basketball players. The Fultz free throw. The stepover. All the times we see them shoot or fingerroll the ball over the goalpost. Hmm, just something to think about.
