Tale Of The Tape For The Most Anticipated One On One Game: BBB's LaMelo Ball vs Barstool's Gay Pat

Lost in Rivalry Weekend in football was a new rivalry. One that we may never have imagined. Barstool’s own Rough n Rowdy 4 winner Gay Pat vs LaMelo Ball of Big Baller Brand fame. It’s quite the rivalry if you ask me. Now, that said, I figured there’s no one here that has watched both LaMelo Ball and Pat play basketball and the one to break down the tale of the tape. So let’s get into it:

Height: Pat (6’4″), LaMelo (6’7″)
Rough n Rowdy Wins: Pat (1), LaMelo (0)
Pro Basketball Experience: Pat (tried out for semi-pro team), LaMelo (played professionally in Lithuania and the JBL)
Has asked me to hoop with them: Pat (Yes), LaMelo (Not Yet)

So as you can see there, pretty much a draw. I think the only way to get into this is using my vast knowledge of watching film and breaking it down to really see what these two have in a 1v1 setting. Let’s look at Pat first. Here we see his jumper:

I’ll be honest. It’s not the best. But, it went in and that’s all that matters. I mean Pat is a stretch four essentially in men’s league. So if he can hit this consistently he may have a chance. He does keep his elbow him, so he has that going for him. Decent follow through as well. But, we’re talking one on one here and Pat is a catch and shoot guy based on the film I’ve seen. Not sure if he’ll be able to create for himself against LaMelo.

Yeah, that looks a bit different. So, listen, I love Pat. But, I’m setting the line as LaMelo -9.5 (-120) playing to 11 make it, take it. Regardless this twitter exchange was one of the highlights of this weekend.
