Brad Stevens Changes His Lineup, Brings Gordon Hayward Off The Bench

The one thing we know about Brad Stevens is he’s willing to try anything if it means producing better quality basketball. For some time now people have been demanding Brad make an adjustment, and we now have it. Aron Baynes in, Gordon Hayward out. I’m sure there are some of you that maybe preferred Mook in this spot, but I see where Brad is going. Every lineup combination you can think of is better with Baynes in it. The guards play better, the wing play is better, the defense is better, and of course the rebounding is better. We’re back to last year’s starting unit that seemed to work out OK, so why not give that a try and see if this team can actually break 90 points. Brad wanted this team to be tougher, well Baynes is just the guy to do that.

The good news is this move isn’t because of a Hayward injury or anything like that. I can imagine there will be some who will get jokes off about Hayward being a 30M bench player, but this team is 9-7 so who gives a fuck about them. I just need them to play better and not give up 60 to Kemba. I have accepted the fact that I will blindly trust and follow Brad into the depths of hell, and if he thinks this is the solution then let’s fucking go.
